Alcudia beach

Here is the lovely beach at Alcudia, on Majorca..We spent a week there recently and all had a fabulous time.

Taplow United Presentation day

Today was presentation day at Harry’s football club.  He was well pleased and all smiles with his medal

 

until he realised that there were also to be trophies awarded to certain players – most goals and most improved for the season – neither of which were coming Harrys way, unfortunately. But, as a consolation prize he scored a Happy Meal!!

 

Day at the pebble beach..

As we woke this morning, without a cloud in the sky, Stace and I had a spur of the moment thought
– let’s go to the beach.

For some reason, Brighton popped into our heads…it took about an hour and a half to get there. It was about lunch time after we had parked the car, so we stopped at a Belgian cafe for a feed of mussels and mouth watering beer.

The kids were hanging out to get to the beach, and I wish I could have had the camera for their reaction when they realised it was a pebble beach..rock actually.

Note: The distinct lack of people in the water…..it was freezing, my feet turned purple.

 

 

IT’S SNOWING!

 

There was no Sunday morning sleep-in happening today in the Williams household.  We were awoken at 7am by an extremely excited Laura racing around proclaiming ‘it’s snowing, it’s snowing, look out the windows, come on come on, IT’S SNOWING’!!!  It is what they’ve all been waiting for, I don’t think they have ever gotten themselves dressed so quickly before, EVER!!   A fun time was had by all.  Next time I think mum and dad will join them in the backyard as well…  LOL

Christmas 2007

Here are some much delayed photo’s from our first xmas in the UK.

 

 

At this point, Siobhan sugar levels were low and all she wanted was food!

Our first Christmas in the UK

Strange….Walking down the main street (oops..they call it the High street over here) on the Sunday before Christmas dressed in my eskimoe jacket and not being able to see your hand in front of your face due to the severe fog..and it got worse as the day went on.

In the morning, I had to do a job on behalf of Santa and picked up the bikes (thanks to Mick and his van!) then proceeded to the George Hotel to thank Mick of course..On the way home, i stopped into John the butchers to pick up this lovely bird.

There you have it, we were set for Christmas day…Cold weather, a turkey and some beers in the fridge..
